VPN Matcher and LAN to LAN VPN configured, which one is working? was created by ctluk
Hi,
Hopefully a quick question, I have just taken on support of a 2866 that appears to have both VPN Matcher and a LAN to LAN VPN profile setup. This is a bit baffling to me (I admit I don't know much about the VPN matcher service as I've never had to use it). So my question is how do I find out what VPN service is being used? In the VPN connection manager I can see the site VPN is connected but I can't determine which service is being used. Or is it a case of the LAN to LAN profile take precedence over the VPN Matcher?
Cheers
Rob

VPN matcher is used to simplify VPN connections where NAT is used.
The fundamental connection still needs to be defined in the VPN settings. They work together.
