I just signed up for a Proton VPN account and with a bit of mucking around, got the connection working. Frustratingly though, it seems incredibly slow compared to the underlying connection to my ISP and substantially slower than using the Proton VPN app on my desktop machine over the same connection.

Wireguard active (durding openspeed test):

• Router CPU usage ~88%
• Download: 61Mbps
• Upload: 85Mbps
• Ping: 57

Proton VPN app on my desktop machine

• Router CPU usage ~2%
• Download: 728Mbps
• Upload: 138Mbps
• Ping: 49.5

Wireguard inactive (during speed test) without VPN active

• Router CPU usage ~2%
• Download: 905Mbps
• Upload: 835Mbps
• Ping: 9.5

Is about all I can expect from the 2927 (which I thought said it'd hit up to 800Mb/s for a VPN connection)? Are there any settings I could look to tweak or is it likely the router is basically overloaded under these conditions and can't keep up?
