New products! was created by amadeus
Just seen the release notes on the Draytek wireless app:

Anyone know anything about them?  Google not returning anything useful.
Probably too late for me as I’m giving more thought to moving away from Draytek (I’d hoped the AP905 might help my daily WiFi issues tho the lack of support/progress on other “top end” devices would remain and life is too short) but still interesting.

About a month ago I found a DrayTek "2026 Databook" (catalogue) PDF on a reseller's web site, and have since discovered it on an official DrayTek web site too (I can't remember which one but it wasn't the UK). It has specs for several products which haven't been launched or announced yet but there are no mentions of the AP807 or AP907 access points your app update referred to. I couldn't find anything at all about them on the web either.

There is an AP1070C coming soon, though. It's a ceiling mounted WiFi 7 access point with 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz radios with one 2.5GbE and one 10GbE wired connection. My guess is that the AP807 and AP907 will provide similar upgrades to the AP805 and AP905 that the AP1070C does to the AP1060C.

I have attached a screenshot of the "2026 Databook" access points spec table.  There's no AP807 or AP907 there but maybe the upcoming AP1070C's specs can give some clues as to what they might be.

Thanks for the info.

i did ask Draytek UK about them and was told:

Regarding the AP807/AP907 references, this is most likely a typo and likely intended to refer to the AP905 and AP805.

which certainly could be correct but I’m probably a bit cynical and think it was unintentional.
i guess we’ll see in time.

I don't think the references to AP807 and AP907 were typos for AP805 and AP905 either.  Support for the AP805 and AP905 was listed in the August 2025 release notes for app.  I think it's more likely that the two mystery access points are real products in development but they were only supposed to have been mentioned in DrayTek's internal release note, not the public one.  It is inconceivable that there aren't successors to the AP805 and AP905 already in the product pipeline because DrayTek currently have no 6GHz or WiFi 7 access point offerings.  It seems likely now that these new products will be the AP807 and AP907, along with the  AP1070C already listed in the 2026 catalogue.
