VigorSwitch P2542x

L2+ Managed 48 Port Gigabit PoE+ Switch with 6 x 10Gb SFP+ Uplink Ports and Power Redundancy

The VigorSwitch P2542x is an L2+ managed switch offering extensive management options and enterprise-grade features designed to enhance network stability and security. It supports stacking and includes a power backup input for improved reliability.

Equipped with 48 PoE+ RJ-45 LAN ports and six 10Gbps SFP+ slots, the switch delivers a total PoE budget of 400 watts to ensure stable and efficient power distribution. This allows connected devices to receive both power and data through a single cable, eliminating the need for additional power cables and adapters.

The VigorSwitch P2542x also includes advanced management capabilities such as VLAN support, QoS prioritisation, and remote monitoring. These features provide greater network control and optimisation, making the switch well suited for small to medium-sized businesses as well as enterprise environments.

With power redundancy options, this cutting-edge network switch ensures seamless operation and minimised downtime. It supports both DC and AC power inputs, providing the flexibility to meet a wide range of power requirements and improving overall network reliability.

Designed for centralised management, the VigorSwitch P2542x can be provisioned and monitored through the VigorACS management platform or a DrayTek Vigor router’s Central Switch Management. Administrators can easily configure VLANs through the router and clone switch configurations across multiple devices. This significantly reduces the time required to deploy complex networks with VLANs spanning multiple switches.
