Firmware update problems Safari and AP900 & AP710 was created by sjltech.uk
Hi all,
Just spotted some recent firmware updates for the AP900 & AP710 (from 7th October) so decided to update mine.
Using an iMac/macOS Sierra/Safari (all patched up) the firmware update just sits at "firmware update in progress" screen, so after 20 minutes, as the AP710's a backup, decided to logon to it using Chrome and reboot it through the web GUI.
Did this OK, then tried the firmware update through Chrome, and this worked in the usual few minutes.
Got the same experience with the AP900, so did the same thing, and it all worked OK through Chrome (same iMac etc.)
The firmware updates are:
AP900 = 1.1.8.2
AP710 = 1.1.7.2
Going to log a ticket with Draytek and will post back
Cheers
Simon
