Vigor 2962 upgrade to 4.4.5.1 was created by DR
I've recently upgrade the firmware for my 2962 to firmware version 4.4.5.1 from v4.4.3.2 - from that point I would lose access to the internet randomly, if I reboot the router it connects for a minute then fails again. If i change the DNS server and reboot i get a connection ranging between 30 minutes-5 hours, it's unpredictable. I initially thought it was a device on the network so isolated the device but still lost connection and had to change the dns server and reboot. In the end I have rolled back to 4.4.3.2.Has anyone else had this ?

I'm experiencing exactly this issue now on 4.4.5.1 since upgrading on 9/10. Has roll-back to 4.4.3.2 solved your issues for now?
There seems to be a trend of problematic updates recently.

Hi DR,
Yes, I’ve had the same troubles as you, if not more…
4.4.5.1 isn’t the stable release, and strange that they even released it. It’s riddled with problems, as is most of the 4.5.1 releases on other models.
If it works for your particular setup, happy days, if not, then just roll back to the official stable version (which at the time of writing this is) 4.4.3.6; which is what you have done, almost.
See the DrayTek FTP site for releases, and you’ll find the txt doc which lists the “stable” version.

I had issues where 2962 was rebooting constantly on firmware 4.4.5.1. Issue was resolved by draytek providing beta release of firmware to resolve.

What was the process you followed for this beta firmware? Just an email in to support? Thanks

I had the same issue and was provided with a beta firmware update by Draytek which resolved the issue. They informed me the version of been provided will become the production release (GA)
