2766vac connected to Sky router was created by S Morris
My 2766VAC has been my primary router (FTTC) since I bought it a couple of years ago. Towards the end of last year I switched ISPs which meant moving to digital voice (from copper). Despite telling Sky I would be using my own router, they didn't flag they don't support digital voice on 3rd party routers.
My Draytek works without issue but I need to reinstate my digital landline. I've tried setting up my Draytek as a Access point (https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/guides/kb-router-as-ap) - disabling DHCP on it, ensuring it's on the same subnet at the Sky router & then connecting both via a LAN port. However the Sky router appears to be issuing an internet IP address despite the DHCP IP range being 192.168.1.x/24. When I give the end points static IPs within the DHCP address range, DNS resolution fails. I've tried specifying the Draytek, the Sky router & external DNS (Google) all of which fail.
Has anyone been able to setup a similar Draytek with a sky router successfully & if you have, how did you do it please?
