Hardware Acceleration on Vigor 2763

Hardware Acceleration on Vigor 2763 was created by sps56
I have just had installed 145mps FTTP broadband from Plusnet via Openreach GPON all is working, however should I be using hardware. Acceleration it is disabled at the monent.

Without 'Hardware Acceleration' that unit can handle upto 400Mbps, so you're fine without needing to turn it on.
Sometimes these stats can change. As has happened in the past with some older models, where published stats claiming slightly lower rates were then updated after a certain firmware release.

When I was investigating the need for hardware acceleration (or not) on a Draytek router I found looking at the CPU usage in the dashboard was helpful.
There are many variables with router configuration and Plusnet is PPPoE, which I believe requires more from the router than some of the other access modes, but I would also agree that you are likely to be OK.
Test and watch the dashboard.
