Hi all, hope someone can help with a recurring problem I have with, it seems, ac chipset wireless routers when enabling IPv6 and getting Android devices to work with it, i.e. visiting test-ipv6.com results in a "broken or misconfigured IPv6 setup"

The flip side to this is that a 2866ax unit works fine with IPv6 and Android devices giving 10/10 on test-ipv6.com.

The configurations on all three routers are as identical as they can be, all have been factory reset and programmed from scratch with relevant latest firmware. I can see no reason other than the different chipsets in use for the ac and ax variants.

I notice on these forums that user ianfretwell has posted in the past about acknowledged hardware limitation of the ac chipset so I wondered if this is another case of this?

Any insights gratefully received.

UPDATE: Just tested a 2865ax unit and that works fine as well, just like the 2866ax, which seems to only reinforce the logic that it's the ac chipset at fault here.

All the limitations I was aware of were to do with wi-fi - but I guess its entirely possible there are other things too...

Thanks for the post Ian, I guess it's just not a very good chipset!
